Lord Kirkhope of Harrogate

Lord Kirkhope of Harrogate's full title is The Lord Kirkhope of Harrogate. His name is Timothy John Robert Kirkhope, and he is a current member of the House of Lords.

To promote the objective - as set out by the British Government - of making the UK the best country in the world for aviation through inspiring both current and future generations to take up science, technology, engineering and mathematics, thereby creating high-tech jobs and growth in our economy.

The group’s aim is to increase UK-China engagement and dialogue. The group wants the UK to challenge and compete with China; but also to cooperate with China including on policy areas such as AI regulation and safety, climate change, and trade and investment.

To promote informed debate and dialogue among parliamentarians on the UK’s evolving relationship with Europe, including the European Union institutions and its Member States, and to develop constructive recommendations that strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest and benefit.
