APPG officer roles
All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) are informal cross-party groups that have no official status within Parliament. They are run by and for Members of the Commons and Lords, though many choose to involve individuals and organisations from outside Parliament in their administration and activities.

Europe
To promote informed debate and dialogue among parliamentarians on the UK’s evolving relationship with Europe, including the European Union institutions and its Member States, and to develop constructive recommendations that strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest and benefit.

Germany
To promote mutual understanding and good relations between the UK and Germany and to facilitate meetings and contacts between parliamentarians of both countries.

Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire
To bring MPs and Peers of all parties together with key leaders - those in local government, the private sector and social enterprise - to help maximise future investment in the region for the benefit of all local communities and economies.
