APPG officer roles
All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) are informal cross-party groups that have no official status within Parliament. They are run by and for Members of the Commons and Lords, though many choose to involve individuals and organisations from outside Parliament in their administration and activities.

To promote the interests and voices of Afghan women and girls within Parliament and to Government.

Haemophilia and Contaminated Blood
To promote awareness of, and campaign for, people with haemophilia and other bleeding disorders and people infected with blood-borne viruses due to contaminated blood and blood products used in their healthcare treatment.

To promote the value of high quality publishing to UK society, culture and the economy. To foster a better understanding among parliamentarians about publishers, booksellers and associated fields, all of whom contribute to a world-leading publishing sector.

State Pension Inequality for Women
To provide a cross-party forum in which to hold the government to account on the issue of transitional arrangements to compensate 1950's-born women who are affected by changes to the state pension age and to campaign on issues around the state pension age.
