APPG officer roles
All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) are informal cross-party groups that have no official status within Parliament. They are run by and for Members of the Commons and Lords, though many choose to involve individuals and organisations from outside Parliament in their administration and activities.

Archives and History
To promote the importance of the work of archivists and historians, and recognise outstanding contributions to the archiving and historical professions.

Forestry and Timber Security
The APPG promotes sustainably managed forests for jobs and economic growth, and a growing, secure timber resource for the UK wood processing sector. Our work supports rural economies, provides low-carbon timber for house-building and combats illegal logging overseas.
