APPG officer roles
All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) are informal cross-party groups that have no official status within Parliament. They are run by and for Members of the Commons and Lords, though many choose to involve individuals and organisations from outside Parliament in their administration and activities.

Conflict Prevention, Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding
The APPG will provide a forum for the discussion and analysis of conflict prevention, conflict resolution and peacebuilding, both in specific conflicts and globally; and to build cross-party consensus around effective approaches and the need for strategic prioritisation of conflict prevention.

Explosive Weapons and their Impact
The APPG will keep Parliamentarians informed on all aspects of explosive ordnance disposal and humanitarian mine action, especially support for victims. The aim is to ensure suitable and sustainable government policy is developed. The APPG will explore issues through inquiries and briefings.
