APPG officer roles
All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) are informal cross-party groups that have no official status within Parliament. They are run by and for Members of the Commons and Lords, though many choose to involve individuals and organisations from outside Parliament in their administration and activities.

Assistive and Accessible Technology
To disseminate knowledge, generate debate and facilitate engagement on assistive and accessible technology amongst members of both Houses of Parliament.

Carbon Monoxide
To convene parliamentarians and stakeholders to discuss and promote ways of tackling carbon monoxide poisoning, and to raise awareness of the issue in Parliament and the public.

To uphold Britain’s commitment to Hongkongers in Joint Declaration; honour the ties between the UK and Hong Kong; defend freedom and human rights in Hong Kong; and support the social integration of BN(O) community resettled in the UK.

To discuss regulation in the micromobility sector as part of decarbonising our transport system; discuss good regulation and practice already taking place and where it can be improved; identify where government can include micromobility regulation in upcoming legislation; advocate for safety of pedestrians and road users in relation to micromobility.

Speech and Language Difficulties
To make parliament aware that the ability to communicate is a crucial life skill for all; to increase awareness about the impact communication difficulties have on other people's lives; to highlight the importance of early identification and intervention; and to press for increased provision of speech and language therapy.
