APPG officer roles
All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) are informal cross-party groups that have no official status within Parliament. They are run by and for Members of the Commons and Lords, though many choose to involve individuals and organisations from outside Parliament in their administration and activities.

Fostering mutually beneficial partnerships between African nations and the UK, actively challenging negative stereotypes about Africa, and amplifying the voices of African diasporas within the UK.

The APPG's mission is to accelerate progress towards ending the global TB epidemic. We work primarily through the UK parliament to push the UK government to improve its policies on TB and devote more resources to tackling the epidemic.
