Deidre Brock

Deidre Brock is the Scottish National Party MP for Edinburgh North and Leith, and has been an MP continuously since 7 May 2015. She currently undertakes the roles of Shadow SNP Spokesperson (COP26), and Shadow SNP Spokesperson (House of Commons Business).

To encourage political interest in Australia and New Zealand; to meet with ANZAC politicians who are visiting the UK; to meet with the High Commissioners of Australia and New Zealand; and to discuss Australian, New Zealand and UK Politics.

To inform Members about the Commonwealth Secretariat's developments to strengthen the Commonwealth network; to keep members aware of the range of non-parliamentary activities and programmes carried out underneath the Commonwealth brand, both on governmental and non-governmental levels; and to take advantage of opportunities within the developing Commonwealth network for Britain's political and commercial activities and for Britain's positioning in the new international landscape.
