APPG officer roles
All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) are informal cross-party groups that have no official status within Parliament. They are run by and for Members of the Commons and Lords, though many choose to involve individuals and organisations from outside Parliament in their administration and activities.

Food Banks
To bring together parliamentarians with a shared interest in and commitment to ending the need for food banks and the deep financial hardship that causes it; discussing the solutions that are needed; making recommendations to the relevant government departments that are key to achieving this.

To promote discussion and set the agenda for developing better, more joined up housing care for older people, promising greater choices in later life.

Shakespeare
To promote Shakespeare’s work in the community, including to explore the teaching and learning of Shakespeare in educational settings; to embed accessibility in Shakespeare’s works as staged, translated, adapted and performed, including BSL (British Sign Language); to explore Shakespeare’s literary, cultural and performance body of work, including translations and adaptations, as intangible world heritage.
