APPG officer roles
All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) are informal cross-party groups that have no official status within Parliament. They are run by and for Members of the Commons and Lords, though many choose to involve individuals and organisations from outside Parliament in their administration and activities.

Australia and New Zealand (ANZAC) and the Pacific Islands
To strengthen relations between the parliamentarians and peoples of Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific region; to discuss areas of mutual interest between the United Kingdom and the Pacific region; to host their respective politicians who are visiting the United Kingdom; and to constructively work with the High Commissions, Honorary Consuls, and Agents-General.

British Heritage
To promote and celebrate the heritage, traditions, history, and culture of the British Isles, in areas such as flags, heraldry, national symbols, historic counties, the celebration of patron saints, and other customs and areas of national significance.

To promote the Commonwealth through engagement with Commonwealth partners and nongovernment stakeholders; to take advantage of opportunities within the widening Commonwealth network; to ensure the argument is made for Britain's diplomatic realignment towards the Commonwealth; and to ensure that there is a hub for dialogue between Commonwealth interest groups.

Crown Dependencies and British Overseas Territories
To act as a cross party forum which will discuss the issues affecting the Crown Dependencies and British Overseas Territories and promote a better understanding of the Crown Dependencies and British Overseas Territories through closer relations between British parliamentarians, the governments of the dependencies and territories and their people.
